The centerpiece of the Seaport District’s renaissance is an entirely re-imagined historic Tin Building, featuring a one-of-a-kind Marketplace and entertainment venue operated by renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
The Tin Building by Jean Georges will feature multiple unique venues: Several full-service restaurants, fast casual and counter dining outlets as well as 10,000 sf of retail featuring private label products, grab and go, grocery and CPGs. To support this significant operation the Marketplace will feature a large commissary kitchen and bakery, as well as an exhibition kitchen that will provide media opportunities.

POSITION SUMMARY
The data entry clerk is responsible for all correspondence, and communications associated with the inventory system. They also ensure all updated information are being made accurately in a timely manner. This role reports directly to the Inventory and Cost Controller.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
· Must have 1-year minimum prior experience with entering data into a system accurately and or similar relevant experience
· Experienced with CrunchTime or another inventory system highly desirable
· Experienced with a POS highly desirable (such as VisualTouch)
· Must be proficient in excel, including use of formulas
· Must be organized and detail oriented
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
· Displays strong integrity and accountability
· Strong organizational, analytical, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to work as a team
· Open to travel when auditing warehouse inventory
· Must be able to maintain a schedule availability flexible to the business demands, including occasional weekends.
· Must be passionate, entrepreneurial, and dedicated to success
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Maintains accurate data within inventory system and POS according to proper procedures including but not limited to entering customer data, pricing, product information, etc.
· Responsible for data entry within appropriate data systems
· Verifies data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
· Correspond with appropriate department heads to ensure all information is accurately captured for purposes of data entry
· Resolve and troubleshoot issues
· Audit to eliminate duplicate data
· Test information before updating into the system
· Works alongside with department leaders to collect accurate information to input into the system
· Verifies that items are integrated within POS to ensure accurate information when going live
· Manage users in inventory system, by adding or deleting users
· Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company.
· Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.
- Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
- Climbing steps regularly.
The base pay for this position is a pay range between $20 - $23 an hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc.
