VRC Investigations is currently expanding our Administrative Support Unit. Veracity Research Co. Investigations (VRC), is one of the nation’s leading and most experienced investigation companies. VRC is seeking qualified Data Entry Clerk candidates. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the day-to-day insurance fraud defense investigations and operational needs for multi-state regions. As a key member of the VRC administrative division, the data entry clerk will assist in all facets of the company by setting up all necessary case intake information received from VRC clients in our case management system for all services. The data entry clerk will complete tasks with other team members under management supervision and when needed assist the administration team with the reviewing of field investigative reports as well as the opportunity to cross train into other departments/divisions. All team members must have excellent computer skills, be able to multi-task, and problem solve. This position is a full-time, non-exempt, position located in our corporate office in Denton, TX and will report to the Director of Corporate Services.

The successful candidate will have related experience in one or more of the follow areas:

  • Meeting deadlines/multitasking
  • Knowledge of fraud terminology a plus
  • Experience with data entry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications to include Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, English or a related field a plus

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to type at least 45 WPM.
  • Communicate with case managers & teammates effectively
  • Data processing / attention to detail
  • Review investigator video
  • Review, format and edit investigative reports for grammar and punctuation
  • Have a sense of urgency to ensure that cases are being set up and processed within designated time frames
  • Complete special projects as needed
  • Track time spent on case set up within our internal file tracking system
  • Communicate and collaborate within the organization to ensure that all facets of the case setup are completed accurately and timely
  • Prioritize rush files and notify appropriate parties when necessary
  • Utilize TEAMS for template updates, informational spreadsheets, etc.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Microsoft Office Knowledge (1 year or more required)
  • Be highly motivated and possess the ability to work under little supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Meet individual and team performance standards while maintaining good attendance and dependability
  • Must pass a drug test and pre-employment testing
  • Upon hiring, you must proficiently learn and utilize all electronic tools as required within the scope of this position to include the company’s IMS case tracking system

Compensation:
VRC employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis at an hourly wage ($15.00 - $16.00/hr) to commensurate with experience. The sign on bonus will be paid after 90 days of employment.
