Overview:
The Data Engineer of Analytics & Business Intelligence will join a team of 100+
purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. Our client is the largest leadership honor society in the United States, with over 700 chapters and more than 1.5 million members.
Reporting directly to the Asst. Director of Data Analytics & Business Intelligence, the Data Engineer of Analytics & Business Intelligence will be responsible for data capabilities as a part of the data landscape. Build advanced data ETL/wrangling pipelines, prescriptive, predictive and data science models and provide data intelligence as a service. The data landscape and analytics will help the company understand its own health by finding growth levers and identifying areas of opportunities for optimization. Using existing and new data sources and techniques of streamlined data collection and retrieval process , the Data Engineer will contribute to driving business performance for each business unit.
Responsibilities:
● Develops, delivers, and manages business intelligence and analysis data models and tools to be used organization wide.
● Collaborate with technology and business teams to capture data integration requirements, conceptualize solutions & build required data related technology stack.
● Partner with engineering teams to identify data sources, profile and quantify quality of
data sources, prepare data and build data pipelines for integrating data sources
● Develop new features and improve existing data integrations with data ecosystems
● Supports team members in analyzing, interpreting, and reviewing data, and providing recommendations to support strategic business decisions
● Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data
● Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data
● Structure large data sets to find usable information
● Work with a team of analysts and other associates to process information

Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, Data Science, or any other related field. An equivalent of 5+ years of working experience is also acceptable for this position.
● Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and AWS redshift
● Proven experience in building/operating/maintaining fault tolerant and scalable data processing integration using AWS
● Well versed with distributed computing principles, proven experience building high scale high-performance cloud platforms and services
● Familiar and comfortable with data technologies such as Hadoop, Teradata, and so forth.
● Highly proficient in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for report and presentation needs.
● Experience using SQL server reporting services, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, PowerBI, analysis services, or any other data visualization tools.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
