Job description
Position Summary:
Answers phones and greets patients and visitors. Receives referrals from physicians's offices, schedules patients, obtains pre-certs as needed, registers patient in computer system and completes insurance verification on all outpatients.
Responsible for entering statistical data for Rehab Services and maintaining the inpatient/outpatient database for all referrals (collecting, organizing and entering).
Manages medical records for outpatient areas and provides clerical support for Administrative Assistants as needed and all other clerical duties as assigned.
Position Qualification:
High school diploma or GED.
