Overview of the Role

Citi’s PBWM Technology (PBWMT) organization serves the PBWM global suite of products providing a full range of innovative and comprehensive set of services. Our businesses also offer industry-leading advanced technology, a strong worldwide presence and a powerful global franchise.

The Data Analytics Lead Analyst is responsible for volume, quality, timeliness, and delivery of data science projects as well as planning, budgeting, and policy formulation within area of expertise. Full management responsibility which includes management of people and their performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary action, terminations, and budget approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Define architecture, and design and develop complex Data Analytics Applications using Big Data technologies.

  • Implement Advanced Analytics Models and Machine Learning algorithms along with data visualization to support critical operational and analytical applications.

  • Provide technical direction to team and manage the delivery of Data Analytics applications for Personal Banking and Wealth Management business.

  • Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and compliance standards as applicable to teams and portfolio applications.

  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of experience in developing complex Data Analytics Applications using Big Data technologies including HDFS, Hive, HBase, Flume, Spark, Python, and Kafka on Hadoop ecosystem
  • Implementing Advanced Analytics Models and Machine Learning algorithms to support business decision making.
  • Providing technical direction to deliver Data Analytical applications and visualizations.
  • Implementation experience of data migration from on-premise to Public Cloud viz., AWS, Snowflake and Google Cloud along with knowledge of Banking Regulatory requirements.
  • Utilizing Apace Spark, Apache Sqoop & Talend Framework to ingest data from various source systems and build frameworks to deliver complex financial business requirements


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
