Job description
Bishop Ireton High School seeks daily Substitute Teachers to begin immediately. The duties will include:

Taking attendance (roster provided)

Following lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students

Managing the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment

Adapting teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student

Providing in-class and at-home assignments based on the available lesson plan
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors Degree

Candidates also must:

Speak fluent English

Be willing to undergo a background check and take required Virtus training

Provide results of a TB test within the last year
