Position Description
The Cycle Counter is responsible for daily cycle counts in the Victorville facility. Research Inventory discrepancies, determine cause and makes necessary corrections as approved.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cycle counts as scheduled or manual requested.
- Use scanners, SAP and PKMS to make cycles count
- Use computer and Microsoft Office
- Communicate errors to Supervisor and affected Department Manager
- Make corrections to Inventory as approved by manager
- Damage product transfers request
- Must have the ability to be a forklift operator certified
- Required to follow all company policies & procedures including safety and housekeeping
- Required to perform all phases of job description as established by management
- Required to perform other duties as directed by supervision
- Required to meet production standards as determined by management
- Required to work flexible scheduled hours and all overtime as required
- Research discrepancies between physical and system count
- Communicate cycle count finding to those responsible for inventory
- Adheres to the cycle counting procedures and guidelines
- Maintains inventory count records and data files
- Investigates origin of discrepancies
Qualifications:
- High school education or equivalent required
- Ability to use computer and Microsoft Office
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Must have good math skills
- Good communication skills; written and verbal.
- Willingness to work all scheduled workdays
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Cycle Counting experience preferred
- Forklift experience
