Job description
The Cybersecurity Administrator’s primary responsibility is to assist with the management and operations of the Cybersecurity Toolset in use by Community IT. The Cybersecurity Administrator’s responsibilities include tier one level administration and management for all cybersecurity related systems at Community IT. The position requires rapid response to alerts by following detailed policies, procedures, and standards to ensure protection of customers information assets. The Cybersecurity Administrator is also responsible for supporting a range of Cybersecurity consulting projects and for setting up and configuring Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps on client tenants.
The integrity of our client’s identities and data is paramount and the cybersecurity Administrator works diligently to respond to alerts, manage security awareness training and ensure that baseline cybersecurity configurations are applied. Additional tasks and initiatives related to supporting the cyber security of our client’s networks will be assigned by the Chief Technology Officer.
The Cybersecurity Administrator delivers value to Community IT clients by ensuring that baseline configurations are applied, training is delivered effectively and that cybersecurity alerts are responded to in a timely manner. They support the broader company by acting as a resource to the team supporting the wide range of cybersecurity systems in use by Community IT.
Requirements:
Technical
1) Provide tier one operational support for the Cybersecurity Systems
o Day to day administration of cybersecurity management and monitoring services

3. Webroot / Antivirus
4. SentinelOne / EDR
5. Cisco Umbrella
6. Barracuda Sentinel
7. ID Agent DarkWeb Scan
o Perform incident analysis and follow established processes and procedures for escalation and remediation
o Monitor the various platform and service boards
2) Setup and configure Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
3) Administer managed Security Awareness Training Platform.
o Setup new customer accounts
o Configure Baseline Phishing Test
o Configure Standardized Training Courses
o Provide follow up reporting and administration as required
4) Support Cybersecurity projects
- Support the CTO in delivering cybersecurity assessment by running network scanning tools, run CRT/Azure Discovery scripts, assist with report creation
- Collaborate on MFA enrollment projects
5) Provide tier one level operational support to Centralized Systems platforms.
o Inventory reconciliation

2) Lead cybersecurity trainings for clients
This position requires a 2 year degree in computer science or relevant job experience.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and privacy principles
- Basic Windows Server OS experience preferred
- Basic Windows OS administration preferred
- Basic Mac support experience preferred
- Basic understanding of SQL queries
- Security+ Certification or equivalent
- Able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong sense of ownership
