Our Family Operations Team provides support via the phone, live chat, social media, and email. Whether it's problem resolution, billing support, or supporting clients by helping their employees find Backup Care when an emergency may arise with their current care provider, the Family Operations team owns the family experience throughout the customer's journey with KinderCare and Champions.

Primary Focus: Family Enrollment Support

The Family Enrollment Support Specialists are the first point of contact for KinderCare prospective families. Specialists are responsible for identifying family’s childcare needs and supporting them in locating them the perfect center that will best fit their needs through phone calls, chat, and email. The Family Enrollment Specialist will contact our centers directly for the family and attempt to schedule a tour for each prospective family.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide best in class customer service to our families by connecting with each family to understand their childcare needs
  • Provide service through chat, email, social media, and telephone to parents interested in our programs and services for their children
  • Support families with billing questions, set up of accounts and support our center management team with account questions as necessary
  • Thoroughly log and document all interactions using Salesforce and other tools
  • Go above and beyond to engage our families and personalize conversations verbally and in writing
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
  • Monitor trends in customer communication and provide feedback to management
  • Share innovative thoughts, ideas, and solutions to improve current procedures and improve our family experience.
  • Work as part of a team by collaborating with colleagues and allowing for an open dialogue to best resolve a parent’s question or concern.
  • Partner with field partners as necessary

Working Hours:

  • This is a full-time hourly position with a 40-hour schedule, flexibility between the hours of Monday-Friday, 5am and 8pm PST, Saturday & Sunday 9am-6pm PST are required.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent, 2- or 4-year college degree a plus
  • Ability to work remote in a quiet place, without background noise or distractions.
  • High speed internet access is required. We will provide you with the necessary PC equipment and software.
  • Intermediate PC / MS Office skills, ability to work with multiple applications and windows simultaneously on computer
  • 2-3 years of customer service experience supporting customers via phone and email. Previous remote call center or inside sales experience a plus.
  • Occasional flexibility with schedules, occasional overtime
  • Bilingual: English & Spanish a plus
  • Self-motivated and the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced, deadline-oriented, work from home environment
  • Excellent customer service skills and the desire to help others.
  • Ability to build hype and excitement around KinderCare, our Service Values and care that we provide
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills via email and chat.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers and the public.
  • Ability to be agile and flex from one area of focus to another and multi-task.
