Overview:
Under the direct supervision of the Patient Registration Supervisor, supports the JHHS clinical operation by carring out all duties, responsibilities, policies, and procedures that contribute to efficient front office operations. Duties include clerical, secretarial, administrative and patient registration support.
Responsibilities:
- Performs receptionist duties including answers the telephone; screens calls; forward calls and/or takes complete messages; checks voicemail regularly. Meets, greets and directs visitors to the proper clinical staff or department.
- Performs a variety of basic office support duties such as collecting materials, distributing incoming mail, preparing materials for mailing, completing forms, proofreading typed or printed materials, and/or typing corrospondence reports and other materials.
- Provides factual information regarding the functions, activities, policies and procedures of the office to which assigned; distributes printed materials.
- Assists in organizing and coordinating program related community events and conferences; creates flyers and or newsletter articles.
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in meetings, participation wit other departments, and teamwork.
- Uses a computer to verify information and update information as directed.
- Maintains office space. Assists in ordering, care, maintenance, and utilization of office equipment, computer equipment, office supplies, and inventories.
- May provide relief and assistance to other office support assignments and Patient Registration.
- Represents the Pueblo with dignity, integrity, and a sprit of cooperation in all relationships with staff and the public.
High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).
