• Answering phone calls and assisting clients with scheduling appointments and pet questions.
• Checking clients in and out and ensuring all needs have been met.
• Entering and updating client information and patient records.
• Responding to or forwarding Emails (we reach inbox zero every day!).
• Interpreting Veterinarian orders and our protocols to educate clients and explain requirements.
• Visually assessing patients in the lobby and alerting hospital staff in the event of an emergency.
• Preparing documents for imaging/scanning into our electronic patient records.
• Copying, faxing, and Emailing documents to clients or physician offices.
• Tackling other projects as assigned (with a smile, as always!).

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have at least 2 years of client-facing customer service experience, 1 year of veterinary experience required.
• Must be a bright, friendly, and effective communicator in order to communicate with clients, visitors, veterinarians and hospital staff. (It’s okay if you talk to animals, too!).
• Must have MS Office and G Suite experience and speed-typing skills (We like tech savvy people).
• Must have a pleasant presence on the phone and the ability to manage numerous calls.
• Must be able to stand, walk, sit and move freely for extended periods of time.

• 2+ years of experience as a veterinary receptionist.
• Pets of your own (empathy vs. sympathy).
• Familiarity with Instagram and a desire to participate in marketing events.
