Building Supply Company in Monterey is hiring a Customer Service Representative

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assist do-it-yourself homeowners, contractors and customers with finding products to fit their needs and project requirements.
  • Is a product expert and invests time to learn products and all aspects of assigned department.
  • Utilizes technology and software to track inventory levels, product inquiries, and customer look up's.
  • Passionate about hardware, home improvement, retail, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in a retail hardware store or other hardware related industry.
  • Able to lift and carry lumber to customer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:

  • customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • construction: 2 years (Required)

License:

  • Driver's License (Required)
