Job description

A local community bank is seeking detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Customer Service Representatives (CSR) to join our growing team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Receives deposits, verifies cash and endorsements, and issues receipts.

* Cashes checks and pays out money upon verification of identification and customer balances.

* Accurately processes withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.

* Assists with opening and closing the branch, including balancing the cash vault.

* Files customer and bank documentation.

* Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

* High school diploma or equivalent (Some college experience is a plus).

* Previous cash handling, clerical, and/or customer service experience.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

* Basic computer skills.

* Ability to multi-task.

* Professional in conduct and appearance.

* Service oriented with strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to pass a background check.

* Pursuant to the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988, all employees must remain drug free and alcohol free when reporting to work and while engaged in any work related activities.
