Responds to inquiries, indexes the database and forwards callers to appropriate adjusters. Answers basic questions as described below. Work from home options available following a training period in the Boston office.
Duties
- Uses information from the companys database and knowledge of company procedures to answer routine inquiries such as: claim number, adjuster name and extension/fax number
- Index callers based on claim number and forward to appropriate adjuster
- Covers reception areas and follows procedures
- Delivers time sensitive messages to Company personnel
- Performs other activities as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a customer service environment required
- Exceptional telephone communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong typing skills required
- Bilingual a plus
