Job description
Job Responsibilities include the following:
Provides support in a 24/7 manufacturing process
Uses a working knowledge of the capabilities of the production process. Able to understand how the different production systems interact: cold end procedures, production procedures in general, how the Shop Floor / E1 interface.
Be available when necessary on nights and weekends.
Acts as the customers’ primary point of contact.
Follow and manage EDI and manual entry orders from entry to invoicing, through all steps of the process.
Assist customers with invoicing and credit questions by using information in Cardinal Float Glass accounts receivable system.
Manage the closing of customer orders Monitor activities related to production/manufacturing, warehouse, shipping and receiving, and quality control functions.
Works to meet customer needs when unforeseen issues affect production.
Monitor production. When the schedule is interrupted, discuss customer needs and expected delivery timeframe adjustments.
Respond quickly to problems/issues, working closely with customers, production, and other Float Glass plants to find the best solution.
Creates supporting documents for the Sales department and helps maintain the files.

Address book and customer preferences
Education/knowledge requirements
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Be capable of understanding the business process: how information is entered and retrieved, including information required to run the following aspects of business:
1) Accounts receivable – credit hold and pre-pay terms
2) Order to cash: customer service and order entry, including pricing
3) Demand to available: scheduling, planning, and forecasting, MRP, work centers, and the manufacturing accounting that occurs as part of the work order completion process
Skills needed
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize, prioritize, and track many details, even in chaotic situation.
Able to use automated information systems to analyze the customers’ situation.
Ability to log data into and retrieve reports from tracking software.
Knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.62 - $22.00 per hour
