Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Customer Service Manager to join our team located in Canandaigua, NY.
Your Role:
The Customer Service Manager ensures that RCP’s customers are satisfied. Their role is to provide superb customer service by leading and motivating the customer service team, developing loyalty programs, and creating customer satisfaction goals. Duties include supervising and managing the customer service team, training staff members to provide the highest standards of customer service and ensuring that all company policies are followed. Additional tasks comprise of handling customer inquiries and resolving customer problems.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with various functions within the designated region to ensure customer inquiries are handled appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Manage service teams that handle customer service inquiries and problems via the telephone, e-mail and other modes of communication.
- Develop and monitor the application of operating systems including policies and procedures, operating structure, and information flow.
- Ensure the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards.
- Develop business plan for team/group operations including budget development.
- Approve personnel activities concerning hiring, training/development, and evaluation of staff performance.
- May build industry relations communicating technologies and operational concerns through industry networking.
- In locations where applicable, responsible to comply with the SQF and GMP practices and programs to ensure safe food packaging product and to report food safety problems to those with authority to take action.
- Size, scope and complexity of assigned portfolio are factors in the level of responsibility.

We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 7+ years of related professional and progressive experience in customer service and/or sales support.
- Prior team management experienced combined with a proven track record of developing, coaching and mentoring a diverse customer service team.
- Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to translate business objectives into tactical actions and make sound business decisions under time pressure.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Ability to travel on a limited basis. (5%)
Icing on the cake:
- MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
