What you will be doing
As of August 24, 2021, AmerisourceBergen requires all U.S. team members to be fully vaccinated and show proof of completed vaccine status at time of hire. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensures Denied Party Screening is performed on all domestic and international shipments.
2. Conduct second review of regulated shipments or shipments subject US exports controls for export compliance.
3. Use World Courier Quality Management Systems (i.e., Deviation Portal) to identify trends and conduct root cause analysis related export compliance deviation captured in TMS.
4. Reports monthly to Customer Service and Operations managers on World Courier USA compliance performance using key compliance indicator (KPI); identify areas of vulnerability, root causes and preventive action to mitigate vulnerability.
5. Assists with developing and conducting U.S. export compliance awareness training on US Export Regulations (i.e., TSA, EAR, ITAR, OFAC, DEA, US FWS, FTR, etc.).
6. Communicates regulatory changes related to US export controls to US associates.
7. Answers clients’ inquiries related to US Export Regulations and World Courier compliance policies & practices.
8. Audit, compile and send clients AES Filings filed on their behalf by World Courier at a time and format agreed to with clients.
9. Archive and maintain clients’ Power of Attorney “PoA” related to export compliance issued to World Courier Inc.

What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business or industry experience preferred.
1 years’ experience in export compliance including Denied/Restrict Party Screening, AES/ACE export filing, and US exports laws (EAR, ITAR, OFAC and other US agencies with export controls).

MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Flexible Schedule. May be required to work some weekends.
1. Professionalism. Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide array of people on many different
levels.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Strong analytical skills.
4. Strong proficiency in common office applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Adobe Acrobat, etc.) and the ability to achieve rapid fluency in business related electronic
applications/platforms (e.g., TMS, CRM etc.).
5. Working knowledge of AES/ACE (Automated Export System/Automated Export Environment).
6. Working knowledge of US Export controls and ability to interpret and apply US export
regulations.
