Purpose Statement
Essential Functions
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Multi-task to perform daily inside sales work (answer phone calls, enter orders, provide technical advice on product related issues, etc.- Enter standard order and quotation requests into order entry system.
- Maintain an exemplary customer service/problem solving attitude and handle difficult customer situations to our customer’s satisfaction. Escalate when necessary.
- Increase sales by proactively providing alternative product offerings or solutions to external customers as appropriate.
- Be a technical resource (i.e., style, size, application, mounting, etc.) for standard Gemini products and services with the goal of increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
- Aid in communication between internal customers (i.e. production, accounting, etc.) and external customers.
- Assist Customer Service Supervisor and Senior Customer Service Representatives with requested duties.
- All other duties as needed for the benefit of the group or organization.
- Skills and Abilities
- Well organized with the ability to perform multiple tasks and priorities.
- Computer literate.
- Maintains a customer focused mindset striving to provide a world class experience.
- Good mechanical aptitude and abilities
- Good numerical skills and a familiarity with computer data base usage and Internet file transfer.
- Ability to handle incoming calls, manage workflow, and assist with customer concerns as required.
Qualifications – Education & Experience
- Two (2) years post high school education and two (2) years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent skills in communication, interpersonal relationships, and customer service.
- Previous experience requiring customer interaction preferred.
Position typically operates in a professional office environment.
- Periodic travel is required to attend trade shows, visit productions sites and corporate offices, and visit customers.
