Position Summary
This position is funded by a grant for a duration of time as defined by the grantor.
This position is funded by a grant for a duration of time as defined by the grantor. Works under direct supervision to perform a variety of janitorial functions for the upkeep of the Galloway Clinic.

Pay Grade: 41H Minimum Qualifications
100.00% - 1. One (1) year of experience in custodial services; and
2. High school dipiloma or GED.
3. Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting preferred.

4. PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Duties and Responsibilities
1. Dusts, cleans, polishes, and waxes furniture, fixtures, woodwork, and equipment.

2. Washes windows and cleans blinds.

3. Sweeps, mops, waxes, and polishes floors.

4. Disposes of waste materials.

5. Moves furniture.

6. Performs all cleaning requirements necessary for the maintenance of bathrooms.

7. Replaces paper towels, maintains soap containers, changes light bulbs.

8. Keeps utility storage rooms in good order by cleaning lockers and equipment, arranging supplies, and sweeping and mopping floors.

9. Performs other related duties as required or directed. KSA's
KSAs - 1. Ability to have manual dexterity to use common cleaning devices.

2. Ability to learn simple tasks related to janitorial work.

3. Ability to deal with others courteously.

4. Ability to follow instructions. Physical Requirements
1. Must be able to stoop, squat, crawl, and perform other physical duties as needed.

2. Must be able to lift or pull up to 25 pounds at a time.

3. Must have manual dexterity to use common cleaning devices.

4. Must successfully pass a physical assessment. Special Requirements
1. Must possess a valid Tennessee driver license or secure one upon date of employment.

2. Must have daily access to an operable automobile and meet county requirements for automobile insurance upon date of employment.
