HOURS/DAYS SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday Nights and Weekends (86.67 hours per pay period)
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Lead Engineer and/or Custodial Supervisor complete all responsibilities in all assigned areas and assist in general maintenance of facilities and its equipment as needed. Shall attend facility staff meetings and trainings as directed and able to work different shift hours, which may include weekends, holidays, days and/or nights. Keeps floors, walls, windows, furniture and fixtures of assigned work zone and other similar areas in a clean and sanitary condition by hand or with mechanical equipment. Stocks sanitary supplies for such areas. May perform simple miscellaneous duties as directed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintain a clean and safe facility in all areas of responsibilities and assist with general maintenance and notify the Lead Engineer and/or Custodial Supervisor in the event of immediate action facility repair.
- Perform maintenance as needed
- Must be able to demonstrate proper usage and handling of chemicals and related equipment
- Must complete the Work Zone Description, which is subject to change and shall be made a part of this job description
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well-maintained facility always. Along with keeping members and/or residents, participants and guests satisfied.
- The effectiveness can be measured by the followingWork area shall be cleaned on a daily basis

- 1-year of related experience
- Successfully pass Association required clearance/background checks for DSHS and CSP
- Demonstrate written and oral communication skills
- Within 30 days of hire date, you must attend and complete:Blood borne Pathogen/Hazmat Training

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- The incumbent will exert themselves in the following ways and/or be exposed to, but not limited to the following conditions or circumstances
- While performing the duties of this job, employee is frequently required to walk, stand, sit, talk and hear and regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects.
- General medium duty lifting is required with position. Regularly required to pick-up or move 50 pounds of project materials and or tools to remote building locations up to 200 feet away multiple times per day occasionally lift up to 100 pounds
- Duties will include working in rooms and on equipment that will create conditions of dust and wetness.
- Will be required to maintain & keep equipment/tools/closets in a clean and orderly condition
- Works with chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners and solutions in dry, liquid, powder spray and aerosol forms
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to be in a crouching position for several minutes at a time
- Regularly required to sometimes require knelling in a reaching position for extended periods
- Regularly required to work with a bodily contortion twisted at the waist, shoulders or legs
- Frequently required to stand on ladders
- Frequently required to work in kneeling in a reaching position
- May work in an environment with very loud noises in both indoor and outdoor
- May work in wet environment both indoors and outdoors
- May work in warm and cold environment both indoors and outdoors
