Job Description:

Full-time, year-round position responsible for managing administrative operations, rentals, various public relations/marketing assignments and assisting with performing arts events in the Performing Arts department. Evening and weekend hours may be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilitates all aspects of facility scheduling, including rentals by outside groups.

Facilitates the processing of all Performing Arts department contracts.

Maintains Performing Arts calendar Outlook.

Maintains records of various aspects of the Performing Arts department including performance information, sponsorships, budget accounts, artist requests for funds and answers request for information to public, etc.

Orders general office supplies.

Assists with performing arts events, season ticket renewal process, box office and departmental clerical duties as needed.

Facilitates recognition of sponsors for each performing arts series event, including all activities associated with artist "meet and greet."

Works closely with the Community Relations and Marketing department in the timely publication of promotional materials for the Office of Cultural Programs and monitors and maintains college and department website.

Oversees the production of content for non-traditional advertising such as IMAG, bill boards, benches, etc.

Assists with promotional efforts for all performances and events handled by the Office of Cultural Programs and facilitates the distribution of publicity materials.

Coordinates the development and maintenance of the website, social media and other online marketing, including digital ads.

Serves as department photographer using digital 35mm camera.

Serves as ADA customer service representative for department and provides special accommodation requests to box office staff and/or House Manager.

Contributes to unit planning, assessment, and college institutional effectiveness efforts.

Acts in accordance with College policies and procedures.

Associate Degree required. Bachelor degree in marketing, graphic design, digital media or event management preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32,000.00 per year

Schedule:

Experience:
