Facility Contract Services is a Florida based contract services company, responsible for the employment and management of personnel for municipal clients. Facility Contract Services is currently seeking dynamic and goal-driven employees for the City of Pembroke Pines Recreation Department. Job Summary

The position is responsible for assisting in the development, planning and implementation of cultural programming in the City of Pembroke Pines.

Responsibilities and Duties

Job duties include assisting with organizing, promoting, and expanding cultural events and classes, maintaining program and facility safety, and assisting in the supervision of the programs, operations and personnel of assigned cultural facilities. Employee will assist with coordination and implementation of summer art and drama programs, art festival and other events or activities. Assigned work to include other duties or responsibilities designated by the Assistant Director of Cultural Arts.

Employee should communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisor, and the public, orally and in writing, and have basic knowledge of principles and practices of cultural programming and special events.

Work is reviewed through conferences and written reports for adherence to established policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

Education/Requirements:

High School Diploma or G.E.D., with one year of college. One year of experience in Art Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education or experience. Must have ability to work nights/weekends.
