Position Overview

As Credit Analyst, the junior associate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, resolve credit application cases in a timely manner, and provide team leaders with any additional task-based assistance.
We are looking for a detail-oriented operations associate to assist with operational processing tasks in a fast-changing start-up environment.
This is a high visibility role on a fast-growing team with an opportunity to support and contribute to day-to-day operation of the business. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily audits and processing of pending credit applications that require further review to proceed
  • Handle loan disbursement and managing milestones in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Respond to rejected loan applications with adverse action notices via email
  • Evaluate incoming credit inquiries for credit worthiness of loan applicants
  • Assess and process borrower loan cancellation requests as they are received
  • Perform outbound client Welcome Calls to ensure compliance and that proper expectations have been set
  • Conduct any transfer of assumption requests as needed
  • Process daily Universal Commercial Code transactional duties for borrowers in a timely manner
  • Analyze and process borrower forbearance and loan modification requests while adhering to the process accurately
  • Operate a high volume of applications that can be data-intensive with tight SLA’s
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced centralized commercial underwriting environment
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide management escalation, prioritize, and execute tasks to balance business needs vs. technical constraints, ensure quality

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of tangible work experience in an operations or administrative support role
  • Basic skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Demonstrate priority-driven thinking through excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Tasks are to be performed independently, with minimal supervision. Able to establish priorities and manage time to complete work.
