The Credentialing / Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the credentialing for Multi-specialty practices that join AdvancedHEALTH.
Position Responsibilities:
- Enrollment of new and current providers and locations
- Maintain and update information on providers including State Licenses, DEA, facility privileges, etc.
- Manage W-9 requests
- Update provider information in Symed Database
- Assist billing department with credentialing denials
- Reporting of current credentialing status with weekly payer grids
- Initial completion of CAQH application and update as needed for re-credentialing
- Knowledge of TN insurance payers to credential providers
- Advise manager of uncertain credentialing information received and any issues identified during the process in a timely fashion
- Prompt processing of all requests to credential
- Diligent form completion for clean application when submitted
- Perform other tasks as requested by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High School or Equivalent
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in medical billing preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in medical Credentialing / Enrollment preferred
- Knowledge of Symed (Credentialing Database) preferred
- Knowledge of Payer requirements for submitting applications
- Thorough knowledge of CAQH
