Job description
We are looking for a Creative Audio Specialist to edit, mix, and create all audio elements for our home games! This includes everything from dance team routines, mascot skits, in-game beats, hot time-outs, pump music clips, and on-court promotions. The Creative Audio Specialist will be well-versed in different genres of music and possess the talent and skill to read the energy of a large crowd. The ideal candidate will consistently create and implement musical ideas that provide a fresh, energetic, and fan-inspiring atmosphere at all home games.
This is a part-time role based out of our DTLA office and audio equipment will be provided.

What You Will Do
- Creatively select audio tracks and conduct music/EFX playback according to the atmosphere and theme for every Clippers preseason, regular season, and postseason game.
- Craft instrumental music scores for in-game and video use, including technical performer aspects of the game entertainment production to ensure its full potential of successfully providing our fans with the best experience.
- Power up mix location, checking all equipment is in working order.
- Assist with setup for every event and confirm that all necessary equipment functions properly.
- Assist game director when needed, executing several types of music selections to maximize fan experience.
- Consistently cut, produce, categorize and store new music for in-game use.
- Work with entertainment teams and mascots to edit music and satisfy in-game needs.
- Run through entertainment team rehearsals and confirm music for their routines.
- Load all changes into audio system before every game.
Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 2 or more years’ experience executing audio selections for sports or live events.
- Background in audio recording, mixing, and producing.
- Highly knowledgeable on all music genres and the history of music and well-versed in musical trends.
- Copyrighting and keyboard/piano/organ experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated dedication with the ability to lead projects from origin through execution.
- Ability to learn, contribute and flourish in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
