Crossing Media is a Growth Stage E-commerce Startup specializing in Livestream Collectible purchase experiences. We are the only licensed collectible purchase experiences. We are the only licensed collectable (Pokemon, Sports, Weiss Schwarz and other TCG items) seller on TikTok and the fastest growing seller on WhatNot, Drip and other live-streaming platforms.

As an e-commerce company that specializes in Livestream Collectables purchases (Pokemon/Sports/Weiss Schwarz), we built up our TikTok Live streaming account to 80K with almost 3000 discord community members in a few months. Our discord community has varied social groups to discuss our live-break streams, trade cards, talk competitive play, etc. We are always growing with special events like tournaments and more on the horizon.

We are also a TikTok official shop partner that specializes in helping content creators expand their presence in the US live streaming e-commerce market. This market is very unexplored and we are leading the charge in selling products and developing communities in this space.

Our partner, including Bytedance (parent company of TikTok) have created a lot of advantages for us such as traffic data access directly from TikTok and a shopping cart feature (to purchase products directly from our livestreams).

Responsibilities

-Responsible for general tax preparation ability (software input, basic returns & projections)

-Responsible for managing payroll and taxes for all employees

-Consult a reviewer for tax issues beyond basic tax knowledge

-Review compiled financial statements and make meaningful adjustments

-Work with the team on day-to-day needs (refinance applications, etc.)

-Compile and prepare various cash management/investment reports

-Manage the workflow of assigned tasks

-Seeks clarification of priorities for tasks based on relative importance and urgency

-Ability to understand the scope and purpose of the work assigned

-Involved in various aspects of the company to gain knowledge in new areas

Requirements and skills

-1-2 years of experience as a CPA or similar role

-Strong accounting knowledge

-Knowledgeable in basic tax concepts: AGI,Itemized Deductions, Taxable Income, etc.)

-Good oral and written communication skills

-Strong time management skills with the ability to handle several projects/clients simultaneously

-Proficiency with MS Office products, including -Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

-Experience working in a startup environment (preferred)
