FULL TIME Package Delivery Driver positions are available in Birmingham, AL. with Legacy Logistics and Transportation., a FedEx Ground contractor. We have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS! Starting pay $150/Day.

The routes are in and around the Birmingham area., using a step van or a box truck.

Areas of delivery Fairfield, Forestdale, Mulga, Brookside, North Birmingham, West Birmingham, and Downtown Birmingham.

CDL License is NOT required! Start your new logistics career with us!

Previous experience at Amazon, UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL is a plus!!

Work Hours- 7:30am - delivery completion - When completed with your route you may be asked from time to time to assist other drivers, OT is required depending on the volume that day from the terminal.

DUTIES OF DELIVERY DRIVER

• Deliver and pick up all packages daily w/in the prescribed time windows.
• Conduct Pre/Post trip van inspections daily.
• Operate delivery van safely, securely and competently.
• Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.
• Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure.
• Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w/o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.

REQUIREMENTS OF DELIVERY DRIVER:

• At least 21 years of age.
• 1+ Year(s) verifiable professional driving experience in the last 3 years.
• Clean driving record - no accidents or violations in 3 years.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and criminal background check
• Ability to lift up to 150+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to work 6 days a week during peak season (starting after Thanksgiving through New Years)
