Job Description:

• Manages a team of prime and sub-contractor cost estimators in preparing Basis of Material (BOM), Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and other cost elements for product manufacturing and engineering services to aid management in determining the price of products or services.
• Issues RFP's resulting Purchase Order and manages procurement activity of the team from request through receipt of material.
• Interfaces with requestors, users, material control, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Develops supplier and sub-contractor relationships and manages low/medium volume value procurements, maintaining visibility of delivery dates as compared to need dates.
• Understands when DD-254s and NDAs would be required.
  
• Must have a working knowledge of FAR & DFARs and government-based purchasing practices.
• Understands various contracting types and their applicability. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Unanet is a plus.

Job Qualifications:

Required Education: Degree in an engineering, technical, or business discipline.

Required Experience: 3 years directly related to the DoD.
