Job: Corrugated Box Machinist ($21-$28 an hour based off experience)

Job description

The primary duties of this job include safely performing a wide range of tasks in the manufacturing of corrugated boxes that include stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, machine set-up, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safe, demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operating complex machinery and have a desire to advance within the company.

Responsibilities

• Ability to lay out the workpiece
• Ability to input specifications into the machine such as speed, feed, coolant
• Ensure that the products meet the job specifications
• Coordinates with engineering for best design practices
• Responsible from TTM based off Kobus specifications
• Problem solving skills
• Familiarization of raw materials
• Responsible for all activities associated with running machinery. This includes staging, setup, operation run, quality and housekeeping
• Quality Control Analysis - Conducting tests and inspections of corrugated board to ensure quality and performance

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Corrugated background
• Ability to use measuring tolls
• Able to lift/move stacks of corrugated paper up to 35 lbs.
• HS Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience
• Kobus Machine Experience is a bonus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
