Position Title: Corporate Development M&A Senior Analyst

Reports to: VP of Strategy

Work Location: Holland, MI

We have an exciting opportunity at our corporate office in Holland, MI for an analytical and strategical problem solver who takes pride in quality of work and is ready to take Motus to the NEXT level. The Senior Analyst will be responsible for accomplishing key goals that will require excellent research, writing, analytical skills and the ability to work independently as well as a member of a cross-functional, dynamic team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Build analytical models to support merger and acquisition (‘M&A’) activities, including the creation of investment decks, valuation models, and sensitivity/scenario analyses to help assess opportunities
• Create and analyze potential M&A related synergies, risks, and opportunities from a financial, manufacturing, execution, and overall standpoint
• Complete due diligence through all phases of M&A, including creating and maintaining trackers, virtual data room coordination, and working with both internal and external parties to complete all requirements (legal advisors, quality of earnings advisors, investment bankers, lenders, etc.)
• Assist in legal M&A-related activities, including IOIs, LOIs, term sheets, and purchase agreement contract reviews
• Maintain ongoing integration planning and execution as required
• Build complete market and competitive analysis database by segment to assist in ongoing commercial and M&A activities
• Drive and define current and future corporate strategies with cross functional teams, including business development, engineering, operations, and finance
• Prepare Executive presentations in PowerPoint, including detailed support and key talking points
• Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams to promote operational efficiencies and report results to senior management
• Analysis of business cases & capital appropriation requests
• Other special projects and ad-hoc requests supporting value creation activities as assigned by the CEO, CFO and VP of Strategy
• Job may allow for partial remote work flexibility
• Light travel (~5-10%) required to evaluate investment opportunities and support integration activities

REQUIREMENTS:

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related discipline
• Recent graduate or 1-3 years of professional experience in Finance preferred
• Excellent modeling skills (three statement financial model, DCF, NPV etc.)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills (i.e. use of shortcuts and index match)
• High energy, well organized and process driven with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills
• Strategical thinking skills a must
• Automotive experience a plus
