This role will contribute to our growing in-house legal team and work on complex issues in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Senior Corporate & Securities Counsel. The Corporate Counsel will provide legal advice and counsel to operating teams throughout the organization on a broad range of topics, including commercial finance, corporate governance, entity management, securities law compliance and tax in a sophisticated corporate environment.

• Advises and collaborates with key leaders to execute on commercial finance transactions and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Works closely with the Senior Corporate & Securities Counsel to oversee entity management, structuring and compliance across the organization.
• Provides legal support on corporate governance, securities law and tax matters.
• Conducts legal research and analysis to provide recommendations and guidance for management teams and other internal clients.
• Demonstrates excellent analytical, consulting, drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to make well-reasoned legal and business judgments and clearly explain complex ideas.
• Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.
• Assists with special projects and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
• Effectively manages outside counsel, as needed

• Licensed attorney holding a J.D. with three (3)+ years of related experience.
• High-level analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and strong project management and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage a variety of projects simultaneously, meet aggressive deadlines and successfully handle urgent situations with patience and diplomacy
• An agile and flexible thinker, with the ability to learn emerging areas of the law and the business quickly
• Ability to function independently and as a part of a team
• Ability to build credibility quickly and provide strong legal support for a complex and challenging business, while positively and successfully managing relationships within a diverse group of stakeholders
• A commitment to personal and professional growth, and receptivity to feedback
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Legal Research Tools (i.e. LexisNexis)
• Matter Management/eBilling Software

Education/Experience

• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
