Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Inside Sales position at SHI Corp is the best way to build a foundation in B2B IT sales. Our Inside Sales Onboarding Program will prepare you for a successful career in IT sales by offering extensive training paired with on the job shadowing and mentorship opportunities. The primary function of being in the Program is to prepare yourself for a career in our Corp Inside Sales Department. This role is a pre-requisite for being an Inside Sales Account Manager, Inside Account Executive – Commercial or Inside Account Executive – SMB.

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will focus on various aspects of the business, including developing new business, cultivating and growing existing business as well as hands-on experience with our internal systems and tools.

Responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to:
  • Successfully complete all SHI, technology, systems and tools and sales trainings and certifications
  • Actively engage and excel in each rotation of the training program
  • Achieve all training metrics, including, dials per day, exam scores, weekly activity goals, and monthly goals
  • Master the concepts of being an IT Sales Professional while building your personal brand
  • Profile through cold calling and various prospecting methods
  • Retain existing active buying accounts through profiling and meeting with customers
  • Acquire the IT needs of small and midsize businesses while providing customers with an extraordinary experience
  • Resolve customer inquiries, determine customer pain points and offer solutions to drive company revenue
  • Practice extensively internal sales tools including our customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning and quote creation tool
  • Provide insight into the connection between technology and the impact on businesses
  • Maximize efficiency around time management and prioritization of differing responsibilities and customer requests

Qualifications:
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree (College/University)
  • 1+ year previous sales experience preferred
  • Proficiency in business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
