Core Room Paste Up and Finisher

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finishes various cores to include filing, washing, mudding, venting, pasting, and assembling.
Maintains quality and production requirements.
Works safety around chemicals.
Wears prescribed safety equipment.
Maintains a clean and neat work area.
JOB KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a continuous basis.
Must obtain a working knowledge of core wash baume' testing, core wash mixing and core wash coating.
Must be able to read and write legibly.
Must be able to bend, lift, stoop, and stand for long periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Foundry Environment.
Exposure to extreme temperatures.
Exposure to high noise levels.
Exposure to dirt and fumes.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Less than 3 months previous experience.
