Job Summary

Firstrade Securities Inc. is a leading online brokerage firm located in Queens, NY and Orlando, FL. We are seeking a highly motivated copywriter to join our marketing team to aid in the growth of our outbound marketing operations. Our ideal candidate is someone who understands the power of good storytelling but knows how to keep it succinct. We want our copywriter to be a seasoned and imaginative writer who has the skills to engage our audience with content of varying levels of technical aptitude. If you are someone who can translate complex financial topics into marketing rhetoric, then we are very interested in speaking with you!

Job Responsibilities:

• Write compelling and informative copy that effectively communicates the company's brand message and value proposition across a range of marketing channels
• Develop and maintain brand voice, tone, and messaging consistency
• Use a collaborative approach to work with the marketing team to aid in the optimization of marketing campaigns
• Pivot between working on larger projects with others and managing independent work
• Demonstrate the ability to proofread and edit copy in support of others on the team
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our messaging is relevant and competitive
• Measure, analyze, document, and organize the copy performance to inform future strategies and tactics

Qualifications:

• BS in English, Marketing, or related field
• 2-3 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in the fintech industry
• Strong writing skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience with SEO, web copy optimization techniques and UX best practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in financial, fintech or tech industry is a plus
• Chinese language skills (reading and writing) is a preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
