The Orchard has an immediate opening for a NY-based Sales Coordinator that will report to the VP, Account Management, North America and is tasked with supporting the North American sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Support the North American sales team based across a variety of functions.
• Compile and distribute reports including weekly sales reports, streaming analysis, consumption reports, chart positions and other ad hoc reports as needed.
• Day to day work with the Digital Retail team; maintaining new release grids, long lead schedules, release recap decks and more.
• Maintain marketing tools (photos, album art, other assets) as needed by the sales team
• Assist in preparing presentations and sales plans, both internally and externally, as needed.
• Help to maintain artist/brand channels, profiles, pages, bios and imaging across assigned accounts.
• Help to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the NA sales team.
• Special projects as assigned.
• Liaise with the Label Management, Artist Services, Commercial Insights and Interactive Marketing teams as needed.
• Participate in sales calls & meetings.
• General admin support for the sales team as needed and requested.

Requirements:

• A passionate commitment to music and artists and a working knowledge of the music industry.
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills are a must.
• Ability to work under pressure and balance priorities while being a team player.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace Applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak effectively across all levels of business, both internally and externally.
• Prior work or intern experience at a record label or music distribution company preferred.
