Cook/Prep Cook/Dietary Aide (Full-Time, morning shift, day shift and evening shift available)

***Time and half weekend and holiday pay!***

Luther Manor Nursing Home is a skilled nursing facility in the Hannibal, MO. We are currently accepting applications for a full-time or part-time Cook/Prep Cook/Dietary Aide. Candidates applying must be flexible and available to work varying shift times, as well as weekends and/or holidays. YOU WILL BE CROSS-TRAINED TO WORK BOTH COOK AND DIETARY AIDE POSITIONS AS NEEDED! Experience in a long-term care facility or hotel setting is preferred. We are looking for dedicated, respectful and hardworking candidates who are willing to ensure our residents' dietary needs are met. Responsibilities include:

• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items
• Work with health care staff to ensure appropriate nutrition for each resident.
• Help maintain accurate food inventories
• Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
• Rotate stock items as per established procedures
• Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
• Able to read and follow standardized recipes
• Strong knowledge of proper food handling procedures
• Able to work as part of a team in a busy kitchen atmosphere
• Take orders, serve meals
• Assist with clean up and reset tables with table linen
• Refill all paper products
• Restock tables, counter
• Check floor, trash cans are clean after each shift
• Clean dishwasher, top and bottom of machine
• Keep shelf for Racks clean
• Doilie clean cover dishes when not in use
• Serve resident beverages
• Check floor, trash cans are clean after each shift
• Monitor residents and notify nurse if emergency arises
• Cleaning
• Other duties as assigned
