The Raleigh House of Hope, a residential addictions treatment provider, who is seeking a full-time Cook for our ranch-retreat treatment center near Watkins, Colorado. Located on 40-acres of ranchland, we have views of the mountains, high-end amenities and services, and a holistic approach to client care.
The Raleigh House of Hope is looking for a cook to join their WATKINS, COLORADO team! Cook is responsible for preparing, and providing nutritious meals and snacks which adhere to the nutritional standards and philosophy of The Raleigh House. The cook will be responsible for assisting with stocking, inventorying supplies, kitchen cleanliness, and assisting in activities which ensure the kitchen/food services’ compliance with regulatory standards and policies and procedures of The Raleigh House.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residential clients.
- Assist with inventory on delivered food upon receipt.
- Ensure that multiple entrée and side options are available, as instructed by the supervisor.
- Confirm all dietary restrictions within the facility and ensure other options are available to clients with special dietary needs, as instructed by the supervisor.
- Ensure kitchen, food preparation stations, and serving areas are clean and meet OBH, Joint Commission, and other State/Federal standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Education - High School Diploma or GED
- .Experience with treatment facilities, assisted living, nursing homes and/or addictions and mental health populations, preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- ServSafe Certified preferred, or within 30 days of hire.
- Prohibitions: Active addiction, use of illicit substances (including THC) at any time during employment, current sponsorship of a current or former (less than 1-year post RH treatment) client.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and balance up to 50 pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
- May include sitting or standing for extended periods of time, as well as stooping, bending over and/or crouching.
