Controls Engineer
Des Moines - IA | Hybrid | Direct hire | $100k - $130k
This is a wonderful opportunity to join an employee-owned company with a work/life balance culture. You will design industrial process control systems. Training will be fully on-site, with the opportunity to work a hybrid schedule after a minimum of 2 months.
Controls Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute complex process control system integration projects of small to medium size and significant complexity simultaneously
• Perform project deliverables independently while adhering to scope, schedule, and budget constraints
• Program, configure, test, and commission PLC and HMI-based control systems

Controls Engineer Qualifications:

• Completion of an Engineering program from an accredited college, technical school, or university.
• 3 years or more of related work or industry experience; or a combination of equivalent education and or experience will be considered with solid evidence of success
• Demonstrated proficiency with the following: electrical design, PLC ladder logic programming, HMI programming, computer programming, or commissioning
• Experience with the creation of new programming and documentation rather than maintaining systems developed by others
