• Plan, direct and coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of the company's financial statements.
• Work closely with the CFO and Finance Director on related items, including financial and management reporting, fixed asset management, cash management and financing needs.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, including account reconciliation, accrual schedules, and general journal entries, ensuring all reconciliations are performed accurately and on time.
• Prepare GAAP consolidated financial statements including for various levels of holding companies.
• Participate in the development and tracking of corporate and operating budgets.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with GAAP standards and/or regulatory rules, including implementation of any changes.
• Assist with the development and refinement of financial and operational reports.
• Analyze internal control compliance gaps and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit.
• Direct internal audits involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
• Coordinates preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
• Involvement in various accounting projects as directed by leadership.
• Provide financial analysis, with emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Review and coordinate AR billing.
• Support the implementation of new financial improvement initiatives.

• Strong accounting and general ledger analytical skills.
• Experience in multi-state locations is highly preferred.
• High proficiency in MS office skills (especially Excel), point of sales systems and accounting software.
• Results-oriented, deadline-driven, and well organized.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• BS degree in accounting/ finance; preference will be given to candidates with the CPA or CMA designation.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in multi-unit business with both public and private company leadership roles.
• Multi-unit hospitality food and beverage, retail, or similar.
• Experience preparing financial GAAP statements, business activity reports, financial position forecast, annual budgets.
• Experience with internal and external audit processes involving review of accounting and administrative controls.
