The Curriculum Writer will play a key role in the development of learning material and programs for Colibri Group real estate customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating outstanding learning experiences. They need to be a creative, detail-oriented, enthusiastic team player who is eager to take ownership of various phases of educational projects.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate on the design and development of solutions that satisfy the needs of a diverse set of learners (e.g., Livestream and in-person classes, webinars, online courses, exam preparation).
  • Design or re-design content to meet required outlines and timing requirements by researching state and national law, websites, and/or working with subject matter experts.
  • Create and/or direct instructional supporting material/media (e.g., audio, video, case studies, assessments, PowerPoints).
  • Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills to effectively connect with all learning styles.
  • Ensure content meets the approval requirements of national or state-specific regulatory agencies.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure finished products match the original vision and specifications.
  • Maintain and update all materials across multiple platforms as needed.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of the market.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two or more years of experience as a curriculum creator, preferably for online deployment.
  • Background in the real estate industry an important plus.
  • BA/MA in English, Journalism, Instructional Design, Educational Psychology, Law, or a related field.
  • Adult learning theory education is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and superior written skills.
  • Commitment to excellence and high-performance standards.
  • Ability to successfully adjust to meet changing demands.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design principles and graphic editing applications (candidate will not build/design graphics but needs to understand how graphic elements can enhance the learning materials and may need to modify/edit images).
