Job SummaryUT Southwestern is looking to hire a Contact Administrator II in their Contracts Management department.
Experience and Education
Required:
Bachelor’s degree, preferred, with no experience; Associates degree with 2 years administrative experience; High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years administrative experience.
Job Duties:
1. Facilitates the sourcing and contracting of medical/surgical products, equipment and services for UT Southwestern in collaboration with end-users, Group Purchasing Organizations, and Contracts Management in alliance with contract compliance and expense reduction initiatives.
2. Responsible for ongoing vendor relationship and contract management.
3. Coordinates with end-users in preparation of RFX and provides direction on recommended sourcing approaches based on Contract hierarchy and federal and state regulations.
4. Implement a Value Based selection process and positions the Office of Purchasing as a trusted advisor.
5. Review transactional data to identify opportunities resulting from improved pricing and verify expected outcomes after implementation.
6. Coordinates contracts review and execution and tracks processes to fulfillment.
7. Reviews contracts to ensure that terms are in accordance with UT Southwestern policies and procedures.
8. Monitors contractors for HUB and insurance compliance in accordance with contractual requirements.
9. Provides effective record keeping ensuring that all contract documents are readily assessable.
10. Compile information and respond to internal and external audit requests.
