Position: Contents Cleaner
Location: Rancho Cordova/ Gold River, California
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time / Direct Hire Position
Hours: Monday through Friday
Compensation: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour DOE
The Opportunity:
Five Star Restoration & Construction is looking for Contents Technicians with Restoration experience, who possesses an attention to detail and understands industry best practices, and in turn, applies those practices to every aspect of their work. The person in this position must possess an understanding of what is expected in this role, while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers. We hire the best people and provide them with the opportunities and the responsibilities that allow them to learn and develop professionally.
Primary responsibilities may include the following:

Photograph or videotape contents to document damage.

Evaluate items for cleaning and restoration on or off-site.

Complete a Detailed inventory - listing all contents with corresponding inventory numbers and detailed description of condition on master inventory sheet.

Identify contents damaged beyond repair and document on total loss content list.

Hand-clean, deodorize and treat contents according to standard industry guidelines and manufacturer specifications.

Once cleaned and restored, place and track contents in secured vaults or large lock-up areas until ready to return.
Skills & Experience Requirements:

Excellent computer skills (email, excel, word, digital pictures, DASH.)

Work well and communicate within a team environment.

Perform assigned work in a timely manner and meet deadline.

Uphold all company policies and procedures
-
Work flexible hours, including some nights and weekends- Ability to respond to emergency service calls.

Positive attitude and Self-motivated.

Valid insurable driver's license with clean driving record.

Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
