Role description and opportunities
The Aerial View and Data-Driven Insights Team is focused on delivering brand recognition, growth, increased client loyalty, and employee engagement. We are looking for a Content Project Specialist to help with our efforts in developing and distributing compelling content in support of our brand and our businesses. The ideal candidate has experience with content management in a fast-paced environment.
As we build an ecosystem of content, this individual will be a key orchestrator and instrumental in helping our team and our business partners meet deadlines and manage content efficiently while ensuring superior quality on our internal and external digital channels.
We are looking for a self-starter and team player who enjoys working closely with other writers, designers, marketers/communicators, business leads, and user experience specialists to help us create content that gives value to users, drive engagement, and supports our brand. This individual will help determine the project requirements; help monitor the status of all ongoing processes to ensure that the project deliverables are received on time. Other duties include communicating responsibilities and expectations to the content team and tracking project and content development goals.
Key responsibilities include the following:
- Help the team execute all stages of content development, such as content planning, publishing, and reviewing.
- Support the development of content schedules and editorial calendar.
- Track project-associated activities of the content team, including editors, designers, analysts, and SEO specialists.
- Ensure completion of content projects on time and as per our business requirements and strategies.
- Maintain the content production calendar, project schedules and project status reports.
- Responsible for providing support to department managers and/or staff including administrative support.
- Work collaboratively across internal marketing teams – marketing operations, brand & design, digital marketing, corporate communications and more.
- Learn best practices in targeting, messaging and engagement strategies to deliver campaigns that drive profitable growth through optimal customer experiences.
- Identify, track and report on progress of key marketing KPIs (# of leads, web traffic, content downloads, CTRs, engagement metrics.
- May coordinate special projects and department activities.
- May order and maintain supplies, prepare and sort documents.
- Other marketing/communications/project management duties as assigned.
A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build collaborative relationships and effectively partner across teams, functions and levels.
- Previous experience focusing on content processes, project management, trafficking or production.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- Proficient with Outlook, Calendar, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Good writer and communicator
- Very organized with strong attention to detail
- Accuracy is essential.
- Willingness to learn and understand the products, audience, and landscape.
- Work effectively with leaders and stakeholders within the function, across functions and outside of the organization.
- Ability to follow-through and thrive in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Self-starter that can be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Work experience within financial services industry is preferred.
