Position Summary

The Content Lead is an exciting role within our Bridgestone Mobility Solutions business unit. We are dedicated to delivering social and customer value through leading edge digital solutions and software that advance the mobility for both people and goods transportation. This role exists to manage and optimize agile, innovative web products that support new-to-market services.

As an ideal candidate, you are comfortable writing content for the web and any other digital platforms that are needed. You have experience learning the voice of the company and reflecting that in your writing. You understand the impact of SEO and can use it as a guide when writing. You will succeed at creating content for our B2C and B2B websites and setting a new bar in how we communicate with current and emerging customers in the digital arena.

Responsibilities

  • Produce well-researched content for publication on web pages and blogs

  • Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content

  • Communicate and cooperate with the team to coordinate with team-wide initiatives

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement

  • Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results

  • Create content that motivates, inspires, educates, informs, sells, and simply, provides relevant information to our customers

  • Use your editing, content management, and HTML skills to publish and edit content in a web CMS platform

  • Detailed understanding of current online tools and marketing trends

  • Work closely with the any outside content related vendors

  • Proven experience managing a digital asset management (DAM) system

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, or a related discipline

  • Experience writing long-form, comprehensive blog content that addresses its target keyword’s search intent.

  • 2-4 years of experience that copy writing and/or editing for the web or similar medium.

  • Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio

  • Digital Marketing or Adobe Experience Manager experience a plus.

  • Project management skills which include working with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Outstanding writing and editing skills, as well as strong verbal communication skills.

  • Team-player, friendly individual with an eye for detail and a commitment to quality.

  • Strong analytical skills and have a genuine enthusiasm for the web as a communications medium.

  • Travel approximately 10%

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in related discipline.

2 minimum years of experience Content Marketing/Writing, Digital Marketing or related field.
