Job Overview
This position’s main responsibility is to support warranty and quality functions within the Service Department. Must effectively use analytical skills in structuring and consolidating reports to identify gaps between systems and processes. The role will also have to compile data and develop indicators to measure performance of Distributors and Vendors. It will also be responsible for updating machine locations and distributor warranty data on a monthly basis.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage Machine transfers process and transactions. Follow up on requests and conduct necessary research when executing transfers. Understand process and communicate with Distributors on a regular basis.
• Support various warranty and quality functions such as Part Recalls and Distributor Development Programs
• Assure data entered into the company's internal IT systems is accurate and complete. Ability to perform gap analysis to identify system discrepancies. Develop action plans to correct and interface with multiple groups to complete activity.
• Monitor and support vendor recovery process. Measure vendor performance using warranty claim metrics. Identify performance gaps, determine causal factors, and develop and implement effective solutions that extract value for the company.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 5 years of applicable working experience.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills working across multiple systems, management levels and functions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, claims and standard operating procedures. Working knowledge of electronic data management.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond questions from internal personnel and Distributors
• Experience using reporting systems such as Business Objects. SAP skills will be helpful.
• Well - developed knowledge and capability to efficiently operate database systems such as MS Excel. Working knowledge and capability to efficiently use other common MS Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong time management skills
• Travel: Less than 10% - Domestic to Client’s Plants or Distributors.
• Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (life, carry, move) light to medium weights of 1-10 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.

Additional Information
This position will also be responsible for warranty claim adjudication. Will consider an Asst. Service Engineer level candidate with applicable skills and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $66,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
