Alpine Pools and Spas Cranberry Township is hiring for a Construction Laborer/Foreman. The Construction Laborer/Foreman performs tasks involving physical labor on pool construction projects. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools and may clean and prepare sites, assist in digging trenches, clean up rubble and debris, remove waste materials and assist in pouring and finishing of concrete. You will also assist in any other day to day task that needs completed such as pool cleanings, service calls, and product pickup and delivery.

The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue; and effectively jumps, sprints or throws objects.

• Performs a variety of tasks involving manual labor in pool construction projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for pouring, forming and finishing concrete.
• Assists in the plumbing of pools and hot tubs.
• Assists in excavating and filling of any trenches and ditches.
• Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Performs materials handling and storage.
• Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Pay rate: Competitive based on experience.

Once probationary period is complete employee will have access to healthcare and 401k if needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
