Structural Building Components is an expanding shell contracting company building residential homes throughout the South Florida Region. We are looking to fill a Construction Coordinator position to work in our office in Fort Meyers, FL. We provide labor and material to construct the slab, block, beam, and roof of homes for our clients. As a Construction Coordinator some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Recording new starts as we receive them from clients
  • Input, track, and process, back charges, and extra work orders.
  • Navigating the builder's websites to retrieve model plans and options. Then package and direct out to the field for our Field Superintendents
  • Monitoring and updating completed tasks in Supply Pro as well as Builder Trend
  • Building schedules in Microsoft Projects
  • Building template and options in Builder Trend
  • Communicating with Field Superintendents on progress and upcoming starts.

We are a highly organized rapid-paced company in this quickly expanding market looking for an individual that is dependable, open to and willing to learn, and endeavoring to advance their knowledge in construction.

Requirements:

  • High school degree/GED required.
  • Previous experience as a Construction Coordinator or in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Microsoft Suite, Microsoft projects, Google Drive,
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Adept at problem-solving
  • Works well with a Team or individually.
  • Experience with the construction processes is a plus.

Salary based on experience.
