The Configuration Analyst position is responsible for supporting pricing, engineering, supply chain, including technologies and analytics, by working with leaders and team members to execute Bill of Material creation, data entry, and process controls. This position will be the main owner of handing off the data transfer from estimation to production. The Configurations department is the organization’s sole authority for item configuration and design management.


GEN3 currently supports the development and production of robotic vehicle platforms, accelerating the development process by overcoming all lead times and engineering obstacles. We rapidly get product to market and into full rate production. GEN3 is part of a larger portfolio of businesses with a strong support network and proven track record of success in several markets.

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Administer, support, troubleshoot including but not limited to configurations, order management system, workforce management and reporting tools.
  • Analyze and interpret large amounts of data into relevant information the business can use to make decisions, including creation of accurate Estimates, and analysis of internal data.
  • Participate in system implementation projects including but not limited to requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation and execution, issue identification and resolution.
  • Develop Estimate, Engineering, and manufacturing BOMS
  • Determine relevant information from a customer drawing and interpret correct quantities needed to build.
  • Review production specification sheets for added material not included on a customer drawing.
  • Compare information received from the Engineering team to maintain accurate BOMs.
  • Produce and maintain reports to show performance.
  • Provides expertise and Configurations Management solutions in meeting customers' and company objectives.
  • Organizing large amounts of information in order to prioritize the completion of tasks (Ex; receiving new Estimates, new Customer Orders, Redline requests, ECN changes, internal questions).
  • Maintain ERP system records including Redlines and Engineering Change Notices.
  • Performs duties consistent with the Company’s Goals and Mission
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • 1-2 years of ERP experience
  • Ability to interpret data in a customer centric manner
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving and follow through skills
  • Maintain a positive and professional relationship with internal and external business partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and organization.
  • Must be self-driven to determine and prioritize goals and tasks
  • High level of understanding of Microsoft Excel

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education/Experience:
  • Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Computer Skills:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Cloud based ERP experience preferred
  • Must be a US Citizen
