Position Summary

The Concierge is responsible for the activity in and around the Cattlemen’s Club, including foyer, lodge room, and assisting in other areas as needed. The Concierge should have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work with a team to ensure that the members and guests receive the highest quality service on a consistent basis. The Concierge is responsible for exceeding the expectations of our members and guests. Providing exemplary customer service on a daily basis and meeting all members’ needs is a priority. The Concierge will also assist in other areas of the club to help provide a smooth operating facility.

Job Duties

  • Assist guests and members with any questions, reservations, travel arrangements, etc.
  • Communicate all reservations, travel plans, and additional needs to all Department Heads.
  • Assist in the coordination of the office and club operations. This includes but is not limited to assisting with reservations, check in/check out, ordering, booking of activities, coordination between bar and dining area, and any other relevant areas.
  • Responsible for answering phones, taking detailed messages and relaying the information promptly and accurately.
  • Assessing and offering creative suggestions and recommendations to members and guests. This may include, but is not limited to, taking reservations for daily dining at The Cattlemen’s Club; assisting members with ordering flowers, balloons, gifts, etc; maintaining a member service brochure binder with updated brochures, shopping guides, and events in and around Deer Lodge; providing travel information and arranging transportation to and from the airport, and assisting members with directions and maps. Communicate and assist spa staff with scheduling appointments.

Job Requirements

  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • An energetic personality and a professional demeanor and appearance
  • Effectively contribute as to maintain a cohesive team
  • Knowledge of computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Must work a variety of day, evening, holiday & weekend shifts
  • Must be flexible to working split-shifts and shifts, which may exceed 12 hours in duration
  • Experience in resolving customer issues/complaints as well as the ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments
  • Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and able to constantly lift, carry, pull or push up to 20 pounds

This is a seasonal position that typically lasts April-October.
