Position: Concert Experience Coordinator
Supervisor: Guest Experience Manager
Schedule: Temporary, Part-Time, Hourly
Position Summary: This position will assist with all amphitheater box office operations. Must maintain excellent customer service qualities and traits to ensure a quality experience for our guests, volunteers, and staff, Schedule is dependent of Fifth Third Bank Summer Concert Series.
Essential Functions:
- Lead all aspects of entry at the Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater gates
- Lead and train a wide variety of volunteers in creating a best-in-class guest experience
- Ability to troubleshoot a variety of issues to provide the best experience possible
- Assist with guest seating in the Frederik Meijer Gardens Amphitheater
- Work cohesively with in-house security team to assist during the guest arrival.
- Assist with any production needs such as running, back of house prep
- Assist with catering set-up, food service for artist and crew, and catering tear-down as needed.
- Monitor all the rooms being used by contracted artist and related personnel
- Clean all rooms of hospitality items, as needed, during and prior to show time
- Ensures confidentiality and professionalism while working closely with high profile talent

Education and/or qualifications preferred:

Education: High school diploma or GED. Some college preferred.

Experience: 2-3 years hospitality experience, management experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment comfortably and professionally

Skills/Knowledge/Licenses: Skilled with computers; preferably Word and Excel. Skilled in establishing priorities and managing workload but able to follow directions. Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.Working Conditions: Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Ability to work in varying weather and temperature conditions both indoors and outdoors. Very customer service-oriented work with a high level of social contact. Requires multi-tasking i.e., office work, floor coverage and a variety of communications. Must be able to assist with physical labor and be able to stand and walk for long periods of time. Able to work most, if not all the concerts
